Dave has successfully earned his electrical engineering degree at the University of Victoria in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Additionally, he has been secretly working on a masters degree specializing in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), which to his disappointment, has not completed yet.

Although Mr. Guindon has full intention to complete his masters degree, he quickly realized the power of working for himself on the internet when playing around with eBay in his spare time.

As a result, he quickly learned how to apply his programming skills for the creation of his first and very popular eBay research tool called Hot Item Finder. Dave first started selling his own software on eBay back in 2002 and has branched away from eBay into his own small empire of self-developed software tools.

Now, Dave has created several more software tools such as AuctionYen, Feedback Analyzer Pro, and CamStudioPro.

In addition to Dave's profound programming skills, he's one of the few programmers with exceptional marketing skills as well as graphical design skills. In fact, every product Dave has released over the past several years has been completely designed by himself. Everything from graphics, sales copy, web programming, software development, advertising, and marketing.
