2. eBay clamps down...again

I've always been as creative as possible with my use of eBay. I don't just sell stuff... I generate leads with eBay!

Over the years I've seen eBay swing back and forth about what is and what isn't allowed inside of a listing. If you are a creative seller it really pays to know the rules!

The latest development is that email addresses are no longer allowed inside eBay listings, but even with that new update, there are still multiple creative ways to pull leads out of eBay when selling items. This "siphoning of leads without violating eBay policy" game has been a big part of my approach to success and helping others to succeed on eBay for over a decade now.

Each time you sell an item on eBay do whatever you can to turn those auction visitors into lifetime customers. For example, include a flyer in every package you send out inviting your buyers to join your email opt-in list, or make your "about me" page a lead generating page on eBay.

As the rules change on eBay, I'll keep staying creative and I encourage you to do the same thing! The latest version of my book "Silent Sales Machine" has all the latest creative eBay ideas - but keep in mind that eBay is only about 10% of the total content of the book.

Are you trying to expand your online influence or audience?

Here's a fast track tip: Find creative ways to make leaders and gatekeepers (people that already have an audience) look like a hero to their own audiences. In doing so, you'll grow your own audience as you gain access to theirs. Some ideas on how to do this:

o Interview them and share it with others o Create content that gives them credit o Create content and GIVE it to them co-branded with your info or email opt-in info included o Follow them on facebook, twitter, etc. and enhance/support what they are doing
